The SolarRaptor SunStrip III 35 Reptile black edition is perfect for all terrarium owners who want a powerful LED light with additional UV-A component for their terrariums. Because with its natural light spectrum the SolarRaptor SunStrip III 35 Reptile offers modern terrarium lighting on a whole new level. The UV-A part of the light spectrum ensures the well-being of the animals and the special colour brilliance lets the terrarium animals shine in all their glory.
All LEDs of the terrarium luminaire (white, red, green, blue) are dimmable and each channel can be controlled individually by means of the separately available CON1 control unit.
Nature-identical sunrises and sunsets or moonlight can be activated directly ” at the touch of a button” thanks to pre-installed scenarios, or they can be customised as desired. Also completely customised colour settings and scenes are possible. Once saved, the programmed scenario can be enjoyed again and again at set times. Or you can always try out new ideas…
Unlike conventional fluorescent tubes, HQL or HQI lamps, the SunStrip 35 Reptile does not produce any radiant heat and only a little heat of its own. This is not only energy-saving, but also protects the terrarium from overheating and does not interfere with the fine adjustment of the terrarium climate — important especially with the increasingly high temperatures in summer.
Thanks to the extreme longevity with a nominal life of 50,000 hours at almost constant light output, there is no need to replace the bulbs regularly.
Like its predecessors, the SolarRaptor SunStrip III Reptile black edition is clad in a flat aluminium casing, but unlike the earlier standard editions, the black edition is completely finished in elegant black. As for all SunStrips also to the black edition applies: we always make sure to use only environmentally friendly materials that are free of mercury.
On the top of the LED luminaire is the special aluminium profile typical of SunStrip. On the one hand, this profile dissipates heat and protects the LEDs from overheating. In addition, the profile also serves as an ingenious fastening rail for the “SunStrip Holder” (now also available in black).
The large selection of 10 different holders allows the most flexible mounting options: From simply placing the SunStrip on the terrarium, to screwing it on, to hanging it from the ceiling or integrating it into existing T8 or T5 fluorescent tube sockets – everything is possible with the “SunStrip Holders”.
In addition, several SunStrips can be connected in length and thus operated with only one (appropriately dimensioned) driver.
The bundle already includes one SunStrip with the appropriately sized driver.
